Father and son Bill and Brad Wade have been working together for nearly twenty years. Finding that special and unique corporate gift had always been a problem. Several years ago, we were looking for chocolate covered strawberries as gifts for associates and clients. We purchased several items and even tried them for ourselves but were usually disappointed. Nobody we found was using “real gourmet chocolate” or “long stem premium strawberries”. They all said “we use chocolate” , but in fact they were using dipping sauce or a fondue type product containing lots of vegetable oil (yuk!) and no cocoa butter. Some of this stuff looks like chocolate but tastes like candles. The FTC requires cocoa butter and chocolate liquor in any product labeled as chocolate. We enjoy quality items and simply wanted to send the best possible gift.
Having many friends and contacts in the produce and restaurant business, we began to do extensive research and developed a new company to fill the quality void. We believed selling a quality product with in a wonderful gift presentation, was the key to a great new business.
